日本が世界に誇るクラシカル・サクソフォン奏者。
長きにわたり、現代を代表する作曲家への委嘱を継続し、クラシカル・サクソフォンのレパートリーを開拓し続けている。国内外の著名オーケストラと多数共演。およそ40カ国で公演やマスタークラスを行なっている。
東京藝術大学卒業。第51回日本音楽コンクール、第1回日本管打楽器コンクール最高位受賞。
2002NHK連続テレビ小説「さくら」テーマ曲演奏。最新CDは自身初の無伴奏作品となる「バッハ・シークェンス」(R2文化庁芸術祭優秀賞)。東京佼成ウインドオーケストラ・コンサートマスター(1989-2010年)、ヤマハ吹奏楽団常任指揮者(2007-2020)を歴任。
トルヴェール・クヮルテットのメンバー。東京藝術大学招聘教授、京都市立芸術大学客員教授。

Nobuya Sugawa

Nobuya Sugawa is a classical saxophonist whom Japan proudly presents to the world. For many years, he has continued to commission works from contemporary leading composers, consistently expanding the repertoire for classical saxophone. He has collaborated with numerous prominent orchestras both domestically and internationally. He has performed and conducted masterclasses in over 40 countries. He is a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts. He has received the highest awards at the 51st Music Competition of Japan and the 1st Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. His latest CD, "Bach Sequence," which is his first unaccompanied work, won the Excellence Award at the 71st (2022) Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival. He has served as the concertmaster of the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra (1989-2010) and the principal conductor of the Yamaha Symphonic Band (2007-2020). Sugawa is a member of the Trouvere Quartet, a guest professor at Tokyo University of the Arts, and a visiting professor at Kyoto City University of Arts.

東京藝術大学卒業。伴奏のイメージを変えてしまうアンサンブル・ピアニスト。様々な奏者の呼吸の機微を読み取り、寄り添うしなやかな感性を数多くの公演や録音で発揮。吉松隆「サイバーバード協奏曲」の準ソリストとしてフィルハーモニア管、BBCフィル他多くの楽団と共演。打楽器の山口多嘉子とのデュオ「パ・ドゥ・シャ」で、吉松隆の作品を収めたCDを発表。須川展也、トルヴェールQの共演者としてのキャリアも長く、多くの録音に参加。トリオ「YaS-375」メンバー。ピアノを安川加寿子、梅谷進、秦はるひ、今井正代、長谷川玲子、本村久子に師事。

Minako Koyanagi

Minako Koyanagi (Piano), a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts, is an ensemble pianist who has transformed the image of accompaniment. In numerous performances and recordings, she demonstrates supple sensitivity that gracefully attunes to the nuances of others by discerning the subtle cadences in the breath of diverse performers. As an associate soloist in Takashi Yoshimatsu's "Cyber Bird Concerto," she has performed with a number of orchestras, including the Philharmonia Orchestra and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. She released a CD featuring a collection of works by Takashi Yoshimatsu as part of the duo 'Pas de Chat' with percussionist Takako Yamaguchi. Koyanagi has had a long career performing with Nobuya Sugawa and the Trouvere Quartet, participating in many of their recordings. She is also a member of the trio "YaS-375." She studied piano under Kazuko Yasuda, Susumu Umetani, Haruhi Hata, Masayo Imai, Reiko Hasegawa, and Hisako Motomura.
